About

About this site, and the domain name before us

What this site is

Spanish Vision Farm is an independent reference library about Iberian horses: the Andalusian (Purebred Spanish Horse), the Lusitano, the bloodlines inside them, and the riding disciplines those horses shaped. It is written for readers who want sourced answers rather than promotional copy.

Each article states a specific question up front, answers it, and ends with a list of the sources used. If a claim cannot be checked against an openable source, it does not go in.

Who runs this site

The site is published by Spanish Vision Farm, which took over the domain name in November 2026. That entity is the responsible publisher for everything here: it signs off on the editorial standards, owns the correction process, and can be reached at contact@spanishvisionfarm.com.

Not the farm that used this name

Between roughly 2007 and 2019 this domain was used by a horse-breeding operation in Texas called Spanish Vision Farm, which also operated as Skyhorse Ranch and Kennel. That business published material on Andalusian bloodlines and on horses offered for sale, alongside a separate dog-breeding section.

This site is not that business. It is not run by the same people, holds none of its records, does not inherit its stud book or animal registrations, and does not claim any of its horses. The name on the domain is the domain, not a continuation of the farm.

What the domain name was used for after the farm

Between roughly 2007 and 2019 this domain was used by a horse-breeding operation in Texas called Spanish Vision Farm, running as Skyhorse Ranch and Kennel. It published material on Andalusian bloodlines, horses offered for sale, and separate pages for its dog section. The domain later passed to other operators and carried unrelated third-party pages. The team running this site today took over the domain name in October 2026 and publishes a new, separate reference site; it is not that farm, does not sell horses, holds none of the old studbook records, and has no connection to the breeding business or to the operators who held the domain after it.

One consequence you may notice: an old address starting with /andalusian used to carry a page unrelated to horses. That address is answered with a permanent removal response rather than a redirect, because there is nothing on this site that corresponds to it. We do not restore, mirror or link to the old pages.

What we cover

What we do not do

To be explicit, because this domain has a commercial past:

  • We do not sell, broker, lease, transport or insure horses or any other animal.
  • We do not offer stud services, breeding contracts, or animal import help.
  • We do not run a shop, take deposits, or accept payments of any kind.
  • We do not give veterinary or lameness advice — that belongs to a qualified vet.
  • We do not publish advertising or paid placements.

How the site is built

The site is statically generated. That means no user accounts, no comment system, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics scripts. See the privacy page for the plain-language version.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, write to contact@spanishvisionfarm.com with the article address and the source you are relying on. Corrections are made in the article itself, and we would rather fix a claim than defend it. The full process is in the editorial policy.
