Botadora IV - Andalusian Reference Mare

Botadora IV - Aragones III (by  Baviero III) x Cariñosa XIV (by Jecomias)

Pure Spanish Andalusian (PRE) Imported Mare - Pura Raza Española

Botadora IV (pronounced boat ah DOOR ah) was imported from Spain by Beverly and Richard Denham. She was the mother of our Andalusian mare Keberes D.

Botadora's lines traced back to famous stallions of Spain such as Jecomias, Agente 1959, Adentro, Juglar, Maluso 1949, and Descarado II.

Botadora's dam, Carinosa XIV, was a Carlos Montijano-branded mare with military and Escalera lines. Botadora's sire, Aragones III, carries the same brand as Granadino XI (Garcia Dieguez) and is of mostly military and Terry (Bocado) breeding. Aragones III is also the sire of Briosa D.

Botadora's offspring included:

Felena D (1991 by Granadino XI) - grey mare sold as breeding/dressage horse
Insulina D (1994 by Granadino XI) - grey mare sold as dressage horse
Jovial D (1995 by Decoroso D) - bay stallion, proven dressage horse
Keberes D (1996 by Granadino XI) - our grey mare
Marinero D 1 (1998 by Granadino XI) - grey gelding sold as dressage horse
Belina PWG 1 (2000 by Granadino XI) - grey mare
Delicia PWG 1 (2002 by Heroe MAC) - grey mare

Jerezano D (above) is a half brother to Botadora.
